C.O.A.L. provides Appalachian Intermediate Teachers with the training and technology to improve science content knowledge and integrate technology across the curriculum in their classrooms.
C.O.A.L. is a continuation of a professional collaboration between the Columbiana County Educational Service Center and Miami University. This collaboration focuses on the professional development needs of teachers to improve student learning in Ohio's Appalachian Counties.
C.O.A.L. was created to impact the quality of teaching and student learning and establish the groundwork for supportive cohort groups for intermediate teachers in Ohio's Appalachian counties.
